Movie Trailer
For my movie trailer I intend on making a prequel to Batman, starring my 5 year old little brother in his Batman Halloween costume. I plan on filming him in the park beside our house. I want my film to have a Lichtenstien -esque pop art feel. I will film over this thanksgiving break. I plan on including dramatic scenes from the actual batman trailers. I plan on editing my footage with adobe premier.
How To Video
For my how-to video, I filmed my little sister baking a rainbow cake. I edited it with transitions and used the instrumental version of Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind as the soundtrack. When I filmed my sister, the raw footage actually resulted in 18 minutes. I whittled down the footage to 6 minutes by cutting down the pauses and fast forwarding some of the processes like cracking the eggs and mixing the cake mixes. The cake that she made was blue, pink, purple, and green, and I filmed her adding a fireworks design on the top of it.

Capstone Website Pages
In my capstone website, my homepage will have an overview of my project and contain information about postpartum depression, symptoms and treatment options. By using the navigation bar at the top, the visitor will be able to go the other pages in my website such as "Symptoms", "Treatment", and "About the Author".
On the "Symptoms" page, I will write about the common symptoms of postpartum depression and of the prevalence of these symptoms. On the "Treatment" page, I will write about the known treatment options of postpartum depression in depth, as well as link to other research done on postpartum depression. On my "About the Author" page, I will give insight into why I am making this website, why I chose the topic that I chose, and how to contact me, the author. If the visitor would like to return to the homepage, there will be a tab at the navigation bar on the top of the site that they can click that will take them back to the homepage.

In class, we watched a video titled "Sight Systems." This video showed a glimpse of a futuristic system where people got implanted technological contact lenses. They were able to access apps and the internet and even manipulate each other's thoughts. While in the beginning of the video, the sight system seemed cool, when the video showed the man manipulating the woman on their date, that's when the sight system crossed it's boundaries.

My Capstone Project Website Ideas
My capstone project focuses on raising awareness in new mothers about postpartum depression. My website will be informative. I plan on compiling statistics, symptoms, and methods of treatment in an easy to navigate format. I plan on making the webdesign simple, clean, and professional. I will have my navigation bar on the left edge of the site. I will have a banner at the top of the site that is consistent on every page. I plan on including different headings, ordered lists, paragraphs, bolded text, and hyperlinks in my website.

Good Web Design vs Bad Web Design
Some webpages that have a good design include:
- http://planoeastmsa.org: One of my best friends designed this page for his high school's MSA. I love the flow of the page. He also made the logo and graphics, and I like how interactive the page is.
- www.twitter.com: Twitter has a good webdesign because there is no clutter. Everything is straightforward and easy to figure out. That doesn't mean that there is a lack of information present. Rather, the information is displayed so that it's easily accessible.
On the other hand, these webpages have bad web designs:
- http://www.valweb.org/: This webpage is obviously aesthetically unappealing. The pictures are placed in random places with no organization, there is no set color scheme, and many random fonts are used on this page.
- http://rense.com/: This ads on this website are SO distracting that you wouldn't assume that this site had any other purpose than as an internet billboard. But it's actually a group of conspiracy theorists' site. You just would never know. The colors are horrible, there is no form of navigation on this site, and looking at this webpage gives me a headache.
